{"id":834,"date":"2024-01-05T16:37:07","date_gmt":"2024-01-05T16:37:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eidtravel.myalca.com\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=834"},"modified":"2024-01-05T16:37:08","modified_gmt":"2024-01-05T16:37:08","slug":"travel-consultant","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/eidtourism.com\/ar\/jobs\/travel-consultant\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel Consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Responsibilities\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diagnose the clients\u2019 specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful&nbsp;travel\/holiday material&nbsp;(guides, maps, event programs etc)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect deposits and balances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle unforeseen&nbsp;problems and complaints&nbsp;and determine eligibility&nbsp;for money returns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend conferences&nbsp;to&nbsp;maintain familiarity with tourism trends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and update electronic records of clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain relationships with key persons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep financial statements and documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reach the revenue and profit targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Requirements and skills\">Requirements and skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in English;
